The 'Hate to Love: Nickelback' Documentary Is Premiering This September

Leigh Brooks’ documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback will officially premiere at this September’s Toronto International Film Festival.

The docu, which is sanctioned by the Canadian band, will take a deep dive into their “rollercoaster career” as a musical outfit that rose to the top of the charts but somehow ended up being one of the most disliked musicians. “Nickelback is one of the most successful acts in music history — they’re also the number one band haters love to hate. This intimate portrait surveys the Canadian stadium rockers’ rollercoaster career,” the film festival describes it.
