Check Out the Un-bear-lievable Furoshiki Shoe from doublet, SUICOKE and Vibram
Yours for $430 USD.
Never one to shy away from the experimental and absurd, doublet is back in tandem with SUICOKE and Vibram for a rather unique footwear offering. Known colloquially as “The Bat,” this three-way collaboration on the FUTON-LO sees Vibram’s Furoshiki techniques worked on to a SUICOKE silhouette, with doublet coming in with faux fur application.
The result is a highly conceptual Fall/Winter 2023 style, linking back to doublet’s FW23 Paris Fashion Week show in which the brand presented voguing mice, Big Foot sweatpants, bunny overalls, hairy Vans, and of course, this tri-collab drop.
To create the shoe, doublet adds faux-fur lining and bat-eared toes, working alongside a Vibram Furoshiki exoskeleton, of sorts, and more Vibram components for the heels. To put them on, simply unfasten the side, open the flap, and slide in.
The pair retails for $430 USD and can be purchased from SUICOKE’s website on August 11 at 6 p.m. ET. Take a look at the daring shoe above.
