There’s a limited supply of Apple Computer sneakers (especially wearable ones) out in the world, so when a fresh pair comes around, it’s a given that they will go for a pretty penny. Luxury consignment entity Sotheby’s has just received a pair of Omega Sports Apple Computer kicks on its site and listed them for a whopping $50,000 USD.
The ultra-rare pair was custom-made for Apple employees online and were a one-time giveaway at a national sales conference in the mid-’90s. There are slight imperfections such as the yellowing around the midsoles and light marks atop the toe boxes, but these are from age. Designed with a semi-chunky build that aligns with retro ’90s style, the shoes are formed with white leather uppers and bear perforated details across the toe boxes and quarter panels. Signature Apple logos are positioned on the tongues and windows, both of which feature the tech company’s vintage rainbow fruit insignia. The pristine condition and rarity of these kicks is what warrants the owner to jack up the price
Head over to Sotheby’s now to cop the size 10.5 pair if you got 50 racks to blow.
