POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) Launches Foray Into Sound, "Roomscape"

Continuing its progressive evolution through various disciplines, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) has now unveiled its latest expression, “Roomscape.” The standout South Korean label describes the project as “a collection of sounds transforming in light, slow, and minute manner.”
POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF)’s Roomscape is powered by SoundSupplyService, a Seoul-based record label that aims to support artists’ creative activity by considering their autonomous judgment and intention as the top priority in creation.
Capturing the ambient sounds floating inside the POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) Seoul flagship, the sonic assemblage delivers a space of sound that stands as an immersive experience beyond the limitations of time and space. “Like a scent in the air, Roomscape sits with you and masks the daily noises. This meticulously transforming soundscape fabricates emptiness and fullness, unfamiliarity and familiarity to provide an experience in which our senses, usually directed toward the surroundings, open toward inner self, says “POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF).”
Roomscape is a seven-hour-long album specifically composed by Inwoo Jung, Kim Doeon, TIBSLC, and Kim Hanjoo. Comprised of four chapters with 16 tracks, the project will be launched through listening events July 15-16 (1-8 p.m. KST), limited to 18 people at a time. POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) has also put together a special Roomscape T-Shirt and MP3 Player loaded with the soundtrack.
