Nike Dresses Its Cortez in "Fir" Green
Complemented with speckles of “Sail” and “Light Silver.”
Nike is continuing to use its Cortez silhouette as a canvas for experimentation. Recently, the sneaker has been presented in a slew of collaborative interpretations — with highlights coming in the form of the sacai and UNION — and now, the Swoosh is taking things back to basics with a new general release colorway with the silhouette coming in an all-new “Fir” color scheme.
The sneaker also comes dressed with speckles of “Sail” and “Light Silver,” while the “Fir” base has been constructed with a nylon upper and suede overlays. Meanwhile, the customary Swoosh has been hit with white leather, with the same detail taking over the matching heel tabs, tongues, and insole branding. Embroidered Nike branding then sits atop a white midsole, the “Light Silver” stripe, and the “Sail” rubber outsole to round off the design.
