London-based streetwear label Palace Skateboards is anticipating the end of Summer to begin the rollout of its Fall 2023 season. The British imprint has taken to Instagram, teasing seasonal themes and products releasing later this year. The first image shared by Palace sees a halted motorcycle rider on the road, wearing a hefty leather jacket protecting him from intense winds.

The varsity-style jacket is embroidered with gothic “PALACE” lettering on the upper back, sitting atop “New York” branding honoring the Big Apple. The below emblem reveals the jacket to be a collaboration with Avirex, an iconic US outerwear manufacturer recognized for its badged leather goods that fetch sky-high resell prices.

Palace’s Fall 2023 jacket boasts a fire brigade-inspired badge with collaborative Palace and Avirex branding and the number “75” at the center. Speedy “PALACE LONDON” markings complete the rear design, clad in grey leather with red, white, and black accents and striped textile perimeters.

Established in 1975, Avirex produced military aviation apparel for the US armed forces, becoming synonymous with impactful garments that later stormed the streetwear and music scenes. This isn’t the first time that Palace and Avirex have come together, producing graphic-heavy outerwear season after season.
