Adult Swim Shares New Preview for Junji Ito's 'Uzumaki' Anime
An official release date is yet to be announced.
Adult Swim and Production I.G. have delivered a new preview for their highly-anticipated anime adaptation of Junji Ito‘s Uzumaki.
The preview clocks in at almost three minutes and sees the two lead characters, Kirie and Shuichi, talk about the urban legend of the “spiral curse” that haunts their small town of Kurouzu-cho. While Kirie laughs off Shuichi’s story of a man’s eyes moving in circles independently, he tells her that she won’t understand the true horror of it unless she sees it with her own eyes.
Uzumaki has been in the works for four years now after being first announced in 2019 and will have Hiroshi Nagahama will serve as director.
