Back in February, rumors have it that Supreme is expected to open a new store in Seoul, South Korea as part of the company’s expansion into Asia following. Speculations were made for the store opening to place during summer, with the prospective location being the city’s renowned Gangnam neighborhood.

South Korean sneaker and streetwear community account, @le.syndrome, recently spotted a 4-storeyed building in Apgujeong Rodeo Street nearing completion. The location is a popular upscale shopping district in Gangnam where a bevy of hip and high-end brands, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants can be found. According to the accounts, the store is speculated to open on August 19 to make it in time before the Fall/Winter 2023 season.

If this turns out to be true, the Gangnam location will become the streetwear giant’s 15th store in the world. It will also be Supreme’s second Asian outpost, while also marking the beginning of its foray into the South Korean market.
