The Lack Of Guidance x Dekmantel Collaboration Lets You Two-Step Your Way to Full-Time

Football-meets-lifestyle brand Lack Of Guidance has just presented a new collaboration with Amsterdam’s favorite electronic music festival Dekmantel, as the Dutch music event prepares for its forthcoming 2023 edition.

As per an interview with Hypebeast in 2021, Lack Of Guidance prides itself on “maintaining the principles of football and combining them with fashion and thought-provoking design.” This new collection from the brand brings more of the same, as the label continues to perceive the beautiful game from a broad cultural perspective, as opposed to simply paying attention to what happens on the pitch during the game’s 90 minutes.

With this in mind, LoG’s latest collaboration with Dekmantel — which comes hot on the heels of Dekmental’s footwear collaboration with Soloman — presents 10 new styles, and they all look to simultaneously encapsulate the beauty of football along with the excitement of two-stepping your way into the night. 

Tapping into various vibrant shades, such as purple and bright orange, the new LoG x Dekmantal collaboration covers all facets of football, from outfield and goalkeeper jerseys to training kits and lightweight jackets designed for those waiting on the bench. Collection highlights come in the form of the black and purple jersey, which is designed as a long-sleeved silhouette and hit with customary Dekmantal branding on the chest — alongside a club crest — while LoG’s stamp can be spotted across the midriff.

Additionally, the collection welcomes branded cotton T-shirts, hit with bold prints across the front, and a new cap, designed in a stealthy black/grey colorway with customary co-branding above the peak. Rounding off the drop, the collection features a lightweight and waterproof jacket, designed with various pockets, zippers, and an overarching hood that’s used to keep wearers protected against rain and wind.
