‘The Witcher’ Reveals New Season 3 Trailer
Set to be the last season with Henry Cavill.
Netflix’s fantasy drama series, The Witcher, has released a new trailer in anticipation of the season three release.
The forthcoming season is set to be the last for its star Henry Cavill. The new trailer reveals a glimpse of what’s to come including epic battles and tales of love from the misunderstood monster slayer. The story follows Geralt and Yennefer coming together to train Ciri to control her magic. It is said that the new season is loosely based on the plot of Time of Contempt from The Witcher by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.
As Cavill is departing the series, Liam Hemsworth is set to pick up the role of Geralt of Rivia. Season 3 of The Witcher is divided into two parts. Volume 1, which contains five episodes, will release on Thursday, June 29. Volume 2, which contains three episodes, will be released on Thursday, July 27.
