Orient Refreshes the Mako Series With Four Beach-Inspired Colorways
Available in Light Blue, Gray, Bordeaux, and Ivory.
Orient has added four new models to its iconic Mako series. Expanding on what the brand stands for since its conception, the new references draw inspiration from gorgeous beachside scenery, which is then embodied via its lineup of color dials spanning Light Blue, Gray, Bordeaux, and Ivory.
Each version is complemented with a unidirectional rotating bezel that harmonizes with each dial’s unique color. Signifying the beach during the day, the Light Blue option features a two-tone bezel comprised of dark and electric blue, while the Ivory edition is paired with a brown-gray and gold tone. Evoking a twilight mood, the Bordeaux colorway is also paired with a grayish-brown bezel accented with crimson 15-minute markers, whereas the Gray option comes with a plain, tonal bezel.
Despite not being an ISO standard diver’s watch, the Mako still offers s 20 bar water resistance, complete with 40 hours of power reserve, all powered by the high-precision, in-house automatic F6922 caliber.
The assortment of watches is now available at Orient’s official online shop with a price point of £425 GBP (approximately $537 USD).
