NewJeans Announces 2nd EP, 'Get Up'
Delivering an homage to ‘The Powerpuff Girls.’
Taking to Instagram, NewJeans announced their second EP, titled Get Up. The announcement was accompanied by an 8-bit video game-like video inspired by The Powerpuff Girls. The clip shows Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein rendered as heroes in the 2D scroller game with “NEWJEANS ASAP” appearing at the end.
The announcement shares that the new mini album will be arriving in July with a pre-release set for July 7. Get Up will be officially released on July 21, while a pre-release will feature the title track “Super Shy” and an intro track. Aside from “Super Shy,” the six-track album will see accompanying title tracks “ETA”, and “Cool With You. NewJeans is also set to release a music video for each song on Get Up
