Needles' "Remix" Series Heads to London Corner Shops for SS23

Since its establishment in 1988, Keizo Shimizu‘s NEPENTHES has constantly defied tradition and become a global force to be reckoned with. NEPENTHES has made itself known by tapping third-party partners to recreate its in-store offerings.
After collaborating with Japanese and American creatives, NEPENTHES links up with UK stylist David Hellqvist who takes Needles‘ “Remix” series to London corner shops for Spring/Summer 2023. Titled “On License/Off License,” the collection heads to British retailers after hours and pays tribute to its local stock.
Pastel cowboy-inspired uniforms run along the drinks aisle with a rebellious attitude, merging with butterfly-embroidered trucker jackets and trousers in the vegetable section. Ribbon-tied shirting and flared denim relax against pre-packaged beverages, while graphic suiting receives trippy iridescent finishes at check-out.
