Missoni Gives Rhythm to Form for SS24
“The Missoni man is athletic and spontaneous.”

Knitwear, playfulness and reinvention has always been a central focus for Italian fashion house Missoni across the label’s 70 year history. For SS24, Missoni seeks to reinterpret the masculine wardrobe through a suite of loose silhouettes that free the body of its rigidity and imbue a sense of ease through a tasteful blend of color, form and materials.
“Color, at Missoni, is form, silhouette, shape. Color, at Missoni’s, informs: it codifies, defines, gives rhythm; it becomes pattern, texture, graphic element,” wrote a release by the fashion house.
Sticking with a neutral color palette as the base, the collection harmoniously blends formalwear in a rather informal approach, allowing one to dress up or down for any occasion. Standouts include trench coats, blazers and blousons to bermuda shorts, shirts, jeans and, of course, Missoni’s signature cardigans, which for SS24 have been delicately crafted in zigzag, fiammato patterns, argyle and a white and yellow gradient.
Missoni added:
“The Missoni man is athletic and spontaneous; he explores the comfort of knitwear as a state of mind, even when he wears denim. He layers and mixes, freely. He prefers soft volumes, and plays with patterns that create movement over the surfaces. In the evening, he indulges in black that sparkles through lurex, sequins and glistening coatings.”
