Francisco Lindor Unveils His New Balance Lindor 2 Signature Shoe
The New York Mets shortstop’s fresh “Summer Storm” colorway is set to arrive in July.
After fashioning a custom baseball glove for Shohei Ohtani back in April, New Balance is revisiting its baseball division by unveiling Francisco Lindor‘s next signature shoe: the New Balance Lindor 2. The silhouette has been uncovered in a fresh “Summer Storm” colorway and has been manufactured as a cleat for the diamond and in lifestyle form for the streets.
“I’m so excited to show off the Lindor 2 throughout the season, starting with the ‘Summer Storm” colorway. Having an opportunity to work with New Balance on this update allows me to continue to explore my love of design,” said Lindor. “Combining the latest New Balance technology with even fresher designs, you don’t need to choose between performance and style.”
The New York Mets shortstop debuted the on-field variation during a Subway Series battle against the New York Yankees earlier this week. New Balance claims that this is its “most premium baseball offering” and it comes styled with synthetic gray uppers, straps across the forefoot and around the ankles for strong, lockdown support and teal accents sprinkled to the lateral N logos.
The New Balance Lindor 2 “Summer Storm” makeup will be released in July via New Balance with the pre-game version retailing for $110 USD and the cleated version costing $150 USD.
