Burna Boy Samples Brandy in New Single "Sittin’ On Top Of The World"

Burna Boy has dropped off his latest single, “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.”
Clocking in at approximately two minutes and 40 seconds, the track is produced by Skread and features a sample of Brandy’s 1998 hit, “Top Of the World.” The cut hears the Afrobeats star touch on his romantic side, telling his special woman that she can have anything she wants over a fused sonic background of old school hip-hop, R&B and Burna Boy’s penchant for catchy pop.
“Sittin’ On Top Of The World” follows up his GRAMMY-nominated single “Last Last” and arrives shortly after the announcement of his NYC Citi Field performance on July 8, which will make him the first Nigerian artist in history to headline a stadium in the United States.
