Air Jordan 1 KO Gets Fitted With "Field Purple" Accents
Jumpman designers swapped out the base layer’s traditional canvas build for smooth satin nylon.
Ever since Union LA introduced the first-ever Air Jordan 1 KO Low rendition and collaboration earlier this year, the silhouette has been dropping a myriad of new colorways throughout the spring and summer seasons. However, Jordan Brand is now redirecting our attention back to its OG model as it has officially unveiled a brand new Air Jordan 1 KO “Field Purple” colorway.
The sportswear imprint’s designers made a major modification with this installment’s upper build. Instead of using its customary canvas, they employed a smooth satin nylon that makes up a majority of the base layer. Tongues, quarter panels and overlays are filled in with a solid black while “Field Purple” accents are dispersed to the toe boxes, Swooshes, ankle flaps and Nike tongue branding. Wings logos are situated on the flaps and arrive printed in solid black. If you take a closer look at the bottoms, you’ll notice that the midsoles and treading have been decorated with speckled wallpaper. The former features multi-colored patterns while the latter opts for a clean white.
Parties interested in copping can find Nike and select retailers dropping these on July 7 for $150 USD.
In case you missed it, on-foot images of the Air Jordan 1 High “Royal Reimagined” have appeared.
