After initial rumors of a Supreme x COOGI collaboration surfaced earlier last month, it appears that the sources were right as the streetwear label gears up for a joined release.

As a part of Supreme’s ongoing major collaborations throughout the Spring 2023 season, the COOGI collection gives classic takes on the Australian brand’s signature sweaters and t-shirts. The label, founded in Toorak, Melbourne back in 1969, has been popularly known by the line of sweaters worn and made famous by Notorious B.I.G. in the song “Big Poppa” and later, “One More Chance/Stay With Me (Remix).” Now, channeling the vibrancy of eye-catching sweaters and the mid-1990s style, COOGI and Supreme have come together for a selection of wardrobe staples for the upcoming warmer season.

The collection takes on COOGI’s mercerized wool sweaters, unique to the brand due to its abstract swirling pattern and bold colors. Taking the weaving technique, the patterns are applied to co-branded basketball jersey as well as a knit chore jacket, resembling that of a light wash denim, as well as signature oversized t-shirts. The collection also consists of jeans, basketball shorts and durags in various colors, all featuring COOGI’s signature embroidery pattern and graphics all over.

The Supreme x COOGI Spring 2023 collection will release globally via the brand’s webstore at 11 AM EDT on May 4, then touch down in Japan at 11 AM JST on May 6.
