Following rumors of a portable offering back in April, the recent PlayStation Showcase offered answers for a handheld console. Sony shared plans to release a device for PlayStation 5 streaming.

Dubbed the “Project Q,” the device allows users to stream gaming to a portable display. Revealed by Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Jim Ryan, the device will able to stream all PS5 games, excluding PlayStation VR2 titles. The “Project Q” utilizes both WiFi and Remote Play sending visuals to the 8-inch “HD display” attached to segments of a DualSense controller.

Although no release details have been shared just yet, take a look at the Sony “Project Q” PlayStation 5 streaming device above.
