P.A.M. and HYSTERIC GLAMOUR Collide for Their First Collaboration
Titled “HYSTERIC P.A.M.”
After coming together with Dickies for “Guitar Girl” workwear sets, storied Japanese label HYSTERIC GLAMOUR has now come together with Perks & Mini (P.A.M.) for their first collaboration. The team-up with the cult Australian brand builds on HYSTERIC GLAMOUR founder Nobuhiko Kitamura‘s longstanding relationship with Shauna Toohey and Misha Hollenbach of P.A.M. Connecting on a shared outlook of fashion, the collaboration, dubbed “HYSTERIC P.A.M.,” the special range explores a collision between the creative spirit of the two brands.
Leading the collaboration are a series of tops that see HYSTERIC GLAMOUR’s “Sexy Girls” reimagined with the lens of P.A.M. Styles include the Alien Girl Tee, Marpi Hug Tee, and P.A.M. Eyes Tee, offered in an array of colors. Aside from trucker hats, socks, and hot pants, the duo have put together stuffed toys expressing the characters Weird Frog and Marpi.
The collaboration is also accompanied by visuals shot by Joshua Gordon, a close friend of P.A.M., who also prepared a photo book for the team-up. Titled, TOY, the book features 80 pages that explore “the world of toys.” A special installation launch for the book will be held May 20 at the HYSTERIC GLAMOUR Shibuya flagship.
Take a look at the range above and catch the P.A.M. x HYSTERIC GLAMOUR “HYSTERIC P.A.M.” collection when it releases May 20 via Perks & Mini, HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, and from Dover Street Market.
