Burnish Finishes Arrive on This Nike Cortez Colorway

The Nike team has been feeling extra experimental when it comes to the latest designs of its Cortez catalog this season. We’ve seen the lifestyle staple reimagined by CLOT in a way where the shoe could be worn two ways as well as seen it modified with oversized lace shrouds in a “Yin and Yang” motif. For the summer season, the Swoosh team is going to ready a flurry of more inline colorways, the latest being this three-toned iteration that comes suited up with burnish finishes.

Playful is a fitting adjective to describe the uppers of this Cortez colorway as it features solid black toe boxes, Swooshes and heels while the center transitions into a burgundy gradience that gets more saturated as you move closer to the center of the quarter panel. “Coconut Milk” accents drop off onto the laces, tongues and rear overlays, the latter of which are embellished Nike Sportswear logos with burgundy fillings. Two-toned presentations are present on the midsoles as they come predominantly covered in maroon and accompanied by an off-white stripe.
