A 'Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater' Remake is Being Made
Accompanied by the ‘Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1’ compilation.
During the recent Sony PlayStation Showcase, amidst the announcements for upcoming titles was word of Konami remaking Hideo Kojima‘s classic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. A brief teaser revealed a cinematic sequence highlighting the graphics for the upcoming remake.
Titled Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, the game will be a faithful updated interpretation of the title that chronicles Naked Snake’s transformation into the Big Boss. It is unclear if Kojima will be assisting Konami with the project and release info has not been shared just yet.
Additionally, Konami announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, a compilation featuring Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The collection is set to arrive sometime Fall 2023.
