Louis Vuitton's "Pacific Chill" Fragrance Reflects California's Wellness Craze
Featuring detoxifying notes that nourish the senses.
Luxury fashion House Louis Vuitton is continuing to expand its fragrance line with the release of a wellness-inspired “Pacific Chill” scent.
Made to reflect shoreside relaxation, the perfume communicates California’s detox culture through fresh notes that nourish the senses. As Louis Vuitton’s first “wellness fragrance,” master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud was motivated by Los Angeles’ cleansing juices.
“One morning in Los Angeles, while I was chatting with Alex Israel, we both ordered one of those detoxifying smoothies that Californians love. I was inspired by the vitamin-packed juice and said to Alex, ‘I’m going to create a detox Cologne.” Belletrud said in a press release.
“Pacific Chill” takes its wearer on an olfactory journey under California’s sun-filled skies. Fruity notes of blackcurrant accompany cédrat and lemon underpinnings, while coriander seeds and ambrette, basil, peppermint, and orange deliver a restoring experience for the mind, body, and soul.
Louis Vuitton’s “Pacific Chill” fragrance is available now via the brand’s website for $300 USD.
