JW Anderson Opens First Flagship Store In Milan
Introducing the designer’s second solo location.
British designer JW Anderson is opening his first retail location in Italy. As Anderson’s second solo store, the brand continues to grow its relationship with the Italian market following its presence on local fashion week schedules since June 2022.
Set in the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero neighborhood, the 53-square-meter store is spread across a single floor and two open-plan rooms. Designed by 6a Architects — who also designed JW Anderson’s London boutique — the store maintains its historic structure and adds pops of modernity with branded neon window displays.
Handmade terrazzo tile flooring boasts speckled accents with geometric shapes, while paintings by artist Hongyan hang from wall to wall and reflect the designer’s vibrant identity.
