Coming together once again, Union LA and Converse have reunited for yet another footwear release. Designed by Chris Gibbs in close collaboration with Converse Skateboarding, the team-up reimagines the Converse CX-PRO SK OX. Based on the archival CX PRO-250, the CX-PRO SK OX maintains a retro look and is updated with premium construction.
Dubbed the Union LA x Converse Skateboarding CX-PRO SK OX+/UN, the shoe arrives in a “Beige” colorway with contrasting white elements coming on the canvas Chevron and Star logo on the side. Additional detailing includes added overlays by the toe region, toe caps, white eyelets, tongue tags, leather lining, and printed insoles. Finishing up the design of the shoe are Union brand tabs at the rear, star-marked sole foxing, heel license plates, and bright yellow rubber outsoles.
Priced at ¥17,600 (approximately $131 USD), the Union LA x Converse Skateboarding CX-PRO SK OX+/UN will be available in “Beige” exclusively via Union Tokyo April 28.
