Robert Stadler’s “OMG-GMO” Presents Colorful Produce Decor
Debuting at Milan Design Week.
Paris-based designer, Robert Stadler, has unveiled a new produce-inspired collection titled “OMG-GMO.” Making its debut at Milan Design Week, the collection is a collaboration between the designer, BITOSSI Ceramiche and Carwan Gallery.
The collection is a set of functional objects like end tables, floor lamps, coffee tables and more that take form in fruit and vegetables. Whimsically designed, the collection features avocados, watermelons, bananas, leeks, butternut squash and more. More than just choosing produce items, the offering showcases the relationship between humans and their environment.
In total, the collection took two years to make and comprises ten handpainted items. Following the showing in Milan, OMG-GMO is set to be exhibited at Carwan Gallery’s flagship location in Piraeus, Greece.
