Look Inside New Tokyo Vintage Shop Pressure
A sister store of “blue room” and “Summer of Love” in Shibuya.

This past weekend, Tokyo’s impressive retail vintage shopping scene saw the addition of “Pressure.” Helmed by Shop Director, Tokyo-based creative Shun (@fuckingshun), Pressure stands as a sister store of popular vintage shops blue room and Summer of Love in Shibuya.
The concept behind Pressure comes from the idea of things you can feel and the scenery you can see change in an environment where the pressure changes, such as “water pressure” and “barometric pressure”. Aiming to foster a sense of community, the new shop will focus on vintage wares from surfing, snowboarding, and skate. The notable vintage brand focuses include Burton, Nike, Stüssy, HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, which will be paired with new releases from both domestic and foreign labels.
The design of Pressure’s space was created in collaboration with Yoshiyuki Matsuoka (PINEHILL), a design figure known for his interior design and direction for brands in Japan like Coleman’s sustainability project “MFYR.” Drawing from details that influence Shun, the window is an homage to Harajuku’s HECTIC opened back in 1994, crash bar entrance door, and wood interior inspired by rest houses on snowy mountains.
Take a look inside Pressure above and stay tuned for pop-ups and releases in the near future.
