Mizuno Unveils Two New Iterations of Its Wave Rider Beta
Designed with the sole unit from the Wave Rider 26.

Japanese footwear specialist Mizuno is continuing to push out fresh iterations of its Wave Rider silhouette, and now its revitalized Beta edition is soon to be available in two new colorways of “Pristine/Chicory Coffee/Mojave Desert” and “Nimbus Cloud/Quiet Shade/Harbor Mist.”
Over recent times, Mizuno has unveiled an assemblage of different versions of its classic Wave Rider sneaker. From the Wave Rider 10 in the “Premium Pack,” to the sandy iterations in the “Desert Meditation Pack,” Mizuno is consistently refreshing its most popular silhouettes with new colors to keep its fans engaged.
Now, Mizuno’s all-new Wave Rider Beta sneaker combines a series of elements that have been taken from a slew of the brand’s past releases. And while this Beta release is a brand-new design, it has been crafted with a modern upper that sits atop the unit of the brand’s best-selling running shoe: the Wave Rider 26. Meanwhile, the shoe has also been hit with a similar toe cap to the one seen in the last four Wave Rider releases.
Customary branding has been applied to the laterally-facing portion of the heel, the tongue, and side walls, while fabrications of suede and mesh have been used to separate the combinations of hues that are seen across the upper, side walls, and heel counter.
You can take a closer look at the new Wave Rider Beta release from Mizuno above and the sneakers will be available to shop via the brand’s official website from April 7.
