Following its recently-held pop-up that allowed its fans to receive a free bag in exchange for a book, the label behind the initiative, AELIZA, has just made its A5 Messenger bag available for the wider public to purchase.

The pop-up — that was open on March 25 — allowed fans of the brand to hand in a book of their choice in exchange for the bag, with the first 50 people being granted the swap on a first-come-first-served basis. Expectedly, the event was a huge success, with long lines of people arriving to get their hands on the exclusive bag that became officially available yesterday.

Traditionally, AELIZA is best known for its regular apparel drops, with new T-shirts often being the main staple point of the release. Recent times, however, have seen the brand expand its mainline offering with new outerwear styles and accessories — with campaigns featuring the likes of UK rappers Lord Apex and Vinch — and now AELIZA’s new A5 Messenger bag stands as the label’s latest move into providing everyday staples that are worn by individuals that align with the brand’s ethos.

The new bag is crafted from 100% Turner cotton, while a white logo screen print has been applied to the front and the strap. Further text work complements the front of the accessory, while the overarching front flap pocket is used to overlap the bag’s heavy-set zippers. Joining the new bag, AELIZA has also presented new Individual Socks in white along with a new T-shirt, complemented by plastisol screen printing on the torso.

You can take a look at what went down at the recent AELIZA “Book for a Bag” pop-up above, along with a closer look at the new A5 Messenger bag that is now available via the brand’s official website.
