Disney+ has released the official trailer of its upcoming film Crater, which stars Kid Cudi, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, McKenna Grace and more.

The coming-of-age sci-fi adventure film follows Russell-Bailey’s Caleb Channing, a young boy who is raised in a lunar mining colony. He suffers through the loss of his father, portrayed by Cudder, and goes on to explore a mysterious crater with three of his best friends along with a new arrival from Earth — making it possibly his final journey with his friends before being moved to a different planet.

Joining Cudi, Russell-Bailey and Grace in the main cast are Billy Barratt, Orson Hong and Thomas Boyce. Kyle Patrick Alvarez serves as director with a script written by John Griffin, while Dan Cohen, Dan Levine and Shawn Levy serve as producers.

Watch the trailer above. Crater premieres May 12 on Disney+.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Marvel Studios is rumored to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
