Jared Anderson Unveils His Custom OVO x Everlast Fight Kit
The undefeated boxer will sport the pieces during his bout on April 8 against George Arias.
Drake has a penchant for promoting his label and fashion imprint OVO in a variety of ways, one of which is sports. In the past we’ve seen the 6God link up with his hometown Toronto Raptors for jersey and apparel collaborations and the NFL for a special collection, and now he’s uniting with undefeated boxer Jared Anderson to craft him a custom OVO x Everlast fight kit. “Every fight is a performance for me, a new opportunity for me to make a statement. Whether it’s a knockout victory or I’m dominating my opponent in the ring, it’s still just as important for me that my custom fight kit and ring walk is just as entertaining,” Anderson said.
Designed and tailored by Wales-based designer Imtayaz Quassim of Bespoke Boxing, the kit features a satin robe that’s styled in OVO’s signature black and gold palette in sequin. It’s equipped with gilded tassels, crystalized embroideries on the chest and the OVO owl that is accompanied by Everlast branding on top. The gaudy shorts are fitted with a roman gladiator-inspired skirt, spell-out his nickname “Big Baby” across the belt and feature oversized OVO x Everlast owl graphics on the sides.
Expect Anderson to rock these pieces come April 8 for his heavyweight bout against George Arias.
