Step Correct With Clints' "Stone Cold" Capsule Collection
TRL FOOTPRINTS 2.0 on your feet, and a look fit for the Japanese streets.
Mancunian outfitters Clints is going international for its latest drop, introducing the Japan-inspired TRL FOOTPRINTS 2.0 “Stone Cold.” The pair — which was teased late last month — comes in a crisp grey, black, and blue-toned colorway, and uses these colors to highlight luxurious suede panels and functional textured fiber elements. Now, it also informs a wider clothing capsule that’s set to drop alongside the “Stone Cold” sneaker.
Centered around the shoe’s palette, we find a leading tracksuit that takes a decidedly ’90s sportswear tone. Piping carves out pale gray and pale blue sections, while tonal zippers can be undone to reveal more blue paneling on the leg to highlight the details in the shoes when worn as a full fit. Contrasting branding works the two-piece, while utility pockets on the jacket add an unexpected touch to the Northern uniform staple.
Elsewhere, the “STEP CORRECT” messaging that’s become a cornerstone of the brand’s identity is now embroidered across the midriff of blue denim dungarees, working alongside a shoe-shaped logo and embroidery on the leg. To complete the Clints ensemble, the brand presents a complementing grey crewneck sweater made from a mohair blend.
Take a look at the capsule in the gallery above, and find more information on Clints’ website about how to get your hands on the “Stone Cold” pair, which drops via raffle on April 7.
