Thomas Bangalter has dropped off his latest effort, Mythologies.

Clocking in at approximately an hour and a half, the 23-track project marks the Daft Punk co-founder’s first independent orchestral work. Mythologies was originally commissioned by choreographer Angelin Preljocaj for the ballet of the same name, which went on to get premiered by the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine under Romain Dumas. Bangalter exhibits a full orchestral work along with his love of Baroque music and subtle American minimalism, crafting the work for 10 dancers from the Opéra National de Bordeaux’s ballet company, 10 more from Preljocaj’s own company and the house’s resident orchestra.

In related news, Bangalter recently opened up about the reason behind Daft Punk’s split.
