NOAH Reinterprets Lavenham's Quilted Outerwear With a Modern Outlook

NYC-based imprint NOAH is teaming up with British pioneer Lavenham to reimagine its staple offerings. The latter recently united with Percival and Japanese designer Kosuke Tsumura to craft outdoor-ready attire made for alfresco settings. Now, the brand taps NOAH for its take on U.K.-focused outerwear crafted in its Suffolk base while keeping quality and locally-sourced textiles at the forefront.

NOAH found importance in upholding Lavenham’s quintessential heritage and wished to pay tribute to its British roots by reminding consumers why a classic is dubbed as such. By selecting the Denham jacket, NOAH embraced the traditional design that has dressed horseback riders and equestrian enthusiasts alike. In addition, the brand inserted its own identity by producing it from contrast-stitch denim that mirrors ’90s hip-hop attire and American workwear silhouettes.

Available in white, grey, and navy, the jacket’s recognizable quilted exterior and corduroy collar is maintained, featuring an isolated padded design for brisk winter weather. Asymmetrical pockets adorn both sides, while buttoned snap closures complete the superficial coating with metallic detailing. Furthermore, the duo also delivers quilted crewnecks in pastel checkered prints alongside co-branded tees and pullovers stamped with Lavenham’s horse emblem.

Take a closer look at the NOAH x Lavenham collaboration in the gallery above. The range will be available to shop in-store and online via NOAH, Lavenham, and Dover Street Market London on March 9.
