One day ahead of the Academy Awards this year, the 43rd Golden Raspberry Awards was held to honor the worst the film industry had to offer in 2022. Also known as the Razzies, the awards that have been held for over 40 years are based on votes from members of the Golden Raspberry Foundation.

The 43rd Golden Raspberry Awards saw the biographical psychological drama Blonde receiving the most nominations, taking home the award for Worst Picture and Worst Screenplay. Other winners included Jared Leto for Worst Actor in his performance for Morbius, Worst Supporting Actor went to Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker in Elvis, and Disney‘s Pinocchio for Worst Remake, Rip-off or Sequel. On a somewhat positive note, Colin Farrell received the Razzie Redeemer Award after jumping from 2004 Worst Actor nominee to 2022 Best Actor Oscar Front-Runner.

It is interesting to note, Machine Gun Kelly was nominated for nearly almost category at the 43rd Razzies directly or indirectly. The Golden Raspberry Foundation took exception to his film Good Mourning, a project which saw him serve as lead actor and director. MGK only took home the award for Worst Director but also saw associated nominations for Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Supporting Actor, Worst Screen Combo, and Worst Screenplay.

In case you missed it, Jenna Ortega is reportedly in talks for a Beetlejuice 2 role.
