National Geographic and adidas Elevate Hiking Experiences With Terrex Swift R3 GORE-TEX Collab

National Geographic has come together with adidas for an adventure-focused hiking collaboration. Made for the outdoor enthusiast, the latest National Geographic x adidas Terrex Swift R3 GORE-TEX incorporates both label’s approach to sustainability.

This pair of trail-inspired shoes are constructed with recycled materials, depicting both adidas and National Geographic’s commitment to raising environmental awareness and conservation. The shoe is mostly made with a lightweight mesh body and detailed with GORE-TEX fabrics all around to the shoe to ensure that the foot stays dry in various weather conditions. The brands are able to marry their respective technical and design codes seamlessly with this collaboration through both co-branding and fabrics. The shoes feature a continental rubber outsole as well as treads for added traction. Adding a pop of color, the shoe includes silver violet and EQT yellow accents along with off-white tones to balance the design.

The National Geographic x adidas Terrex Swift R3 GORE-TEX is currently available in select regions for approximately $250 USD and is expected to have a global release soon on adidas. In the meantime, those interested can check out the shoe and the rest of the collection on certain regional sites.
