JW Anderson's SS23 Bumper-Hike Low Top Sneakers are Circus-Ready
Featuring curved rubber sole units inflated to perfection.
JW Anderson‘s ruthless Spring/Summer 2023 collection continues to hit shelves globally, experiencing a slow roll-out throughout the year. However, the London-based label has just dropped its latest footwear offering, which carries forward its outlandish design language.
Dubbed the Bumper-Hike Low Top Sneakers, Jonathan Anderson crafts a cycle-ready shoe that is equally head-turning and whimsical. The unisex sneaker — available in black and blue colorways — boasts curved sole units that mimic billowing circus uniforms. The uppers combine breathable mesh and high-gloss leather trimmings for a dynamic apperance, the latter covering the mudguards, medials, lacing systems, and rears.
The leather strips allow the mesh underlays to peek through, stacked atop jumbo-sized rubber sole units that curve at the arch and expand around the heels for a humorous finish.
Take a closer look at JW Anderson’s SS23 Bumper-Hike Low Top Sneakers in the gallery above. Both colorways are available now via the brand’s website for $675 USD.
