Watch the Explosive Teaser for Jimin’s Forthcoming New Single “Set Me Free Pt. 2”
His debut album ‘FACE’ is out on March 24.
To the excitement of BTS fans everywhere, Jimin will be putting out his debut solo album FACE on march 24. Ahead of the release, the K-pop star has been dropping breadcrumbs for fans to get a feel for his music and aesthetic will look like sans his fellow bandmates. Last week, label Big Hit Entertainment shared concept photos from a shoot for the album.
Jimin has now returned with a teaser for the first single from the project, “Set Me Free Pt. 2.” Opening with an eerie buzz, the beat explodes into a punchy beat. Honing in on his face, the camera pans to the rows of backup dancers, who perform as the room flashes from light to dark. Jimin breaks eye contact with the camera to confidently walk between the rows of dancers.
At just 30 seconds, Jimin’s vocals aren’t heard until the last few moments of the teaser, so there’s no indicator of what the song will be about exactly. Production for the video was handled by OUI PRODUCTION, with Oui Kim directing the video.
