Gramicci and WACKO MARIA Connect for a New Apparel Collaboration
The four-piece apparel assemblage features animal-printed open-collar shirts, shorts, track tops and bottoms.
We’re only about two months into the new year but WACKO MARIA has already been delivering a sizable amount of energy within the streetwear fashion space thanks to the unveiling of its SS23 collection along with its latest collaboration with Bob Marley. And to keep its momentum rolling at full steam, the Japanese label has now announced its newest apparel team-up with Gramicci. This marks the duo’s first collaborative effort together.
Four silhouettes are included in this range: a. track jacket, open-collared short-sleeved shirt, shorts and bottoms. The assemblage is centered around Gramicci’s signature lightweight nylon fabric and WACKO MARIA’s aesthetic language in the form of animal-inspired graphics. The matching pieces are all devised with a playful, leopard-esque all-over pattern that comes in black and rests along the pieces in three colorways including spring-friendly green, blue and purple. Save for the short-sleeved shirts, each piece comes with embroidered branding from both parties. Additionally the lightweight bottoms are equipped with zippers at the ankles so you can personalize the way you style them.
WACKO MARIA and Gramicci has the collection available now in-store and online with prices ranging from £245-£370 (approx. $295-$345 USD).
