adidas ZX 8000 Receives the "Sky Tint" Treatment
The Three Stripes model carries a soft palette that aligns with the spring season settling in.

Aside from its heavy-hitting Bad Bunny sneaker collaborations, adidas has plans to further build out the catalog of its lifestyle silhouettes this season. One that has been garnering some steam as of late is the adidas ZX 8000 as it was recently highlighted in the latest Gucci x adidas SS23 collection, but now it’s making its way back into the spotlight in the form of an inline “Sky Tint” colorway.
Pastel hues attract all of the attention for this latest Three Stripes offering. They can be somewhat comparable to the model’s OG adidas ZX 8000 “Aqua” installment based off its color scheme, however this pair dials its hues to dustier shades that align with the current spring season. Its titular shade does most of the heavy lifting here as it tumbles onto the pleated tongues, quarter panels toe boxes as well as the sultry suede overlays and heel cages. Soft purple accents appear as shadows of the stripes and lower parts of the quarter panels while “Cream White” applies to the interior liners, stripes and toe tips.
If you fancy these adidas kicks, note that select retailers overseas have them available now, but a stateside drop is expected to go down in the coming weeks. These will be priced at $130 USD.
For other news, Clarks Originals and Ronnie Fieg have linked with adidas to debut the 8th Street Samba silhouette.
