A24‘s Everything Everywhere All At Once has officially become the most-awarded film of all time. The news comes just around the corner of the upcoming 2023 Academy Awards happening on March 12.

The film features a star-studded crew including Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan. A24 has been busy collecting accolades for this film with several awards leading up to this year’s Oscars. EEAAO leads the 95th Academy Award with 11 nominations, including Best Director and Best Picture. Yeoh is also up for Best Actress as is Curtis for Best Supporting Actress and Quan for Best Supporting Actor.

During this award season, the film has been awarded 158 recognitions from major ceremonies and organizations, surpassing the iconic The Lord of The Rings: The Return of the King, directed by Peter Jackson, which received a comparable 101 awards. The film has also beat Jackson’s own nomination count, 295 to 189. However, IGN has also reported that if every single nomination and award was counted for Everything Everywhere All At Once, it would still beat out Return of the King in both awards and nominations – 336 awards, 691 nominations to 213 awards, 337 nominations.

Tune into the Oscars later tonight to see if Everything Everywhere All At Once will add to its various accolades at the 95th Academy Awards.
