Skrillex Drops New Surprise Album 'Don't Get Too Close'
Featuring artists like Justin Bieber, Don Toliver, Kid Cudi, Chief Keef and more.
Following the release of Quest for Fire, his first LP in nine years, Skrillex has dropped a surprise new album titled Don’t Get Too Close.
Riding the high of his much-anticipated return, Skrillex’s new album, released by Atlantic Records and Owsla, features a string of big names including Yung Lean, Bladee, Chief Keef, Justin Beiber, Trippie Redd, Don Toliver, Kid Cudi and more. Swae Lee who also appears in Quest for Fire, is also featured on this new album.
This past weekend was an exciting one for the DJ, as he performed at Madison Square Garden on February 18 and even did an impromptu set in a converted school bus in Timese Square with Fred Again…and Four Tet right before. Earlier this year, Skrillex shared with fans the title track from this album, “Don’t Get Too Close” featuring Bibi Bourelly as well as “Way Back” featuring PinkPantheress and Trippie Redd and “Real Spring” featuring Bladee. This album marks his third solo album. His second solo venture, Quest for Fire features the likes of Missy Elliott, Pete Wentz and more. His first solo full-length project Recess came out in 2014.
