Following the initial word of a release, we now have an official look at the re-release of the Nike Air Flight Huarache “OG.” Debuting back in 1992 and last dropped in 2014, the upcoming offering will see the shoe return to its original tooling and in its signature “White/Varsity Purple/Royal Blue/Menta.”

Designed by both Tinker Hatfield and Eric Avar, the Nike Basketball sneaker was made famous by the Michigan Wolverines’ famous “Fab Five” basketball team – Jimmy King, Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Ray Jackson, and Juwan Howard. The retro design of the Nike Air Flight Huarache “OG” features white leather uppers paired with black TPU molded heel cages. Additional detailing comes in the form of blue and purple neoprene booties with exposed and white laces for a secure lockdown.

Branding elements come in the form of the signature Air Flight Huarache rubber tongue badges, “NIKE” on the heel cage, “AIR” embroidered at the rear, and printed insoles. Finishing up the design of the shoe are sculpted Air-assisted midsoles paired with rubber outsoles.

Priced at $125 USD, take an official look at the Nike Air Flight Huarache “OG” set to release sometime this April above.
