Jenna Ortega Is a Student Protégé In 'Miller's Girl' Trailer

Lionsgate has revealed the first official trailer for its upcoming thriller-drama film, Miller’s Girl. Fronted by Wednesday star Jenna Ortega, Miller’s Girl follows the story of a rebellious student and aspiring writer fostering a passionate relationship with her teacher, becoming his protégé in more ways than one.
Ortega plays the role of Cairo Sweet, who meets a young teacher at summer’s end, portrayed by English actor Martin Freeman. The literary professor assigns Sweet a detailed assignment, tasking her to write a short story voiced by her favorite author. While they work together to complete the project, the teacher and student are entangled in a complicated relationship spearheaded by an inappropriate essay that envisions an intimate storyline between them.
Sweet’s disobedient attitude puts her on complicated paths, looking to convince extended faculty of their wrongdoings that could land them both in trouble.
