As revealed by Jordan Brand’s senior designer, Kelsey Amy on her Instagram, a whole new Air Jordan 4 WNBA player-exclusive colorway is on its way. Entitled “First Class,” the sneaker plays on a tonal palette starring a soft mint green hue. Its support wings, pull tab and sections of the outsoles are punctuated in a darker green. Meanwhile, its tip, toebox and mesh-fitted quarters panels all arrive in a light seafoam green color that adds pleasing tonal contrast to the rest of the sneaker.

Gold-tone hardware is implemented onto the lace tags, tips, and hangtag, as well as the Jumpman logo on the oversized tongue and at the back. Upon a closer glance, the Jumpman logos are embedded with diamonds on the spot that are supposed to indicate a basketball. The hangtag boasts a similar design to luggage flight tags and is specially engraved with “PDX,” “Flight No. N236MJ,” and “PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT” to echo its “First Class” name.

Kelsey Amy writes on her Instagram post that these new AJ 4s are “Made exclusively for our WNBA athletes who continue to pave the way for change both in their sport and in the world around them. Continuously setting the benchmark for women in sports and leaving a lasting legacy for the future generations to come.”
