The Stockholm company is calling it the “grip car.”

Teenage Engineering has never failed to shock with its high-cost creations. The Stockholm-based electronics company has previously put out a $1,600 USD desk, for starters. Other projects seem just slightly fairer with their pricing, given that Teenage Engineering largely makes audio equipment such as synthesizers and samplers

For its latest design, however, Teenage Engineering has rolled out an aluminum toy car. The model is extremely straightforward: an aluminum body and two rotating arms and four rubber wheels. Dubbed the “grip car,” the company enlisted its collaborator Anders Hermansen for the design.

“Simply grip onto the car, and move it in any direction. Or keep it on your shelf,” Teenage Engineering writes in its description.

The car is capable of 360-degree rotation and is available in silver, red and black on Teenage Engineering’s online store.
