Supreme x BLESS Fall 2023 Collaboration
The New York imprint taps the Berlin and Paris-based interdisciplinary design studio.

Stepping back into its major collaboration series for the season, Supreme has now tapped Berlin and Paris-based interdisciplinary design studio BLESS for a special Fall 2023 range. Established by Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag in 1995, BLESS has made a name for itself with an experimental approach to imagining clothing, accessories, furniture, and objects for everyday life. Designs from the label often incorporate recycled textiles and materials, while also expressing unorthodox craft techniques in the development of functional design.
Meeting as design students in Paris, Heiss and Kaag placed an ad in i-D magazine before BLESS was even fully conceived. The wig featured in the ad would catch the attention of Sarah Andelman of Colette and Maison Margiela PR, leading to BLESS’ first product, the “N°00 fur wig.” Crafted from vintage fur coats, the accessory would appear in Maison Margiela’s Fall/Winter 1997 runway presentation.
Since its establishment, BLESS has released over 70 collections filled with progressive clothing and objects that serve to encourage active engagement among its consumers. Standouts include “BLESS N°06,” a package containing all of the materials to create a shoe, and “BLESS N°57,” a T-shirt made out of cardboard look-alike fabric.
