The New Heinz Pickle Ketchup Is a Pretty Big Dill
Offering a blend of flavors in one condiment.
Heinz is fusing two staple hotdog and burger top-ups in the newest Pickle Ketchup condiment.
The offering combines the tangy and savory flavor of pickles with the unique taste of Heinz Ketchup, creating an innovative two-in-one condiment. A press release states that 73 percent of Americans report that they like the taste of pickles, and the Pickle Ketchup is here to satisfy that nuanced flavor experience. “Increased desire for tasty, yet unexpected condiments has served as our innovation north star for the last several years,” Katie Peterson, Director of HEINZ Innovation at The Kraft Heinz Company, said.
“The current pickle craze in America mirrors the irrational love HEINZ fans have for the brand, so it only made sense for our newest ketchup to blend these two beloved tastes together,” Peterson added.
The Heinz Pickle Ketchup is currently available in select retailers in the UK and will hit US shelves in early 2024. It will also roll out to additional markets later this year and early next year.
Elsewhere in food and beverage, Baskin-Robbins debuted the Turkey Day Fixin’s ice cream flavor for Thanksgiving.
