Ahead of its early 2024 release, the 1994 retro basketball shoe makes a return three decades later. Charles Barkley‘s signature Nike Air Max CB 94 makes a dutiful revamped outing following its last retro run in 2021.

The latest installment brings back Barkley’s original “Varsity Purple” accented on the Air Max CB 94. The release of the colorway coordinates with the silhouette’s 40th anniversary next year. White tumbled leather drapes over the majority of the upper while black contrasts are seen on the tongue construction, elastic straps, inner lining and the punch-hole pockets of mesh. The heel features a 180-degree Air Max system and at the forefoot, vibrant “Varsity Purple” details.

Look out for the Nike Air Max CB 94 “White/Varsity Purple” arriving on January 9 at select retailers and online at Nike for $170 USD.
