MING Draws Inspiration From the Dunes for the 37.08 Sand Timepiece
Featuring a deep-relief engraved dial.
After premiering its first-ever precious metal timepiece last week, MING is now welcoming another debut into its ever-growing roster of timekeepers. Introducing the MING 37.08 Sand, the first of the new series characterized by a unique, deep-relief engraved dial. The design was influenced by a myriad of moods, including the appearance of seabed ripples, windblown powder basked in sunlight, as well as the mood of flying above a desert.
Synonymous with the independent horologer’s 37-series models, the new watch arrives in a 38mm stainless steel build. What sets the 37.08 model apart is the increased thickness of its dial to enhance the depth of its visuals, which then allows it to create the three-dimensional engraving that it possesses now. The rest of the timepiece is faithful to MING’s hallmarked aesthetic codes — with laser-hollowed cavities filled with luminous HyCeram, Sellita 210.M1 hand-winding movement, and Jean Rousseau leather strap.
Releasing in a limited production of 500 examples, the MING 37.08 will retail for 3,950 CHF (approximately $4,447 USD) and will be available for order via the brand’s website starting at 1 p.m. GMT/ 8 a.m. EST today.
In case you missed it, the HM11 marks the premiere of a new MB&F watch silhouette.
